How did this all get started anyway?
Hello!
My name is Kristen Broughton. I am a wife, mom, business woman, health expert. I am passionate about people, families, and freedom. My husband Joel and I have a beautiful family, a couple of dogs, and are grateful to live in the USA where we have the opportunity to create, help, and inspire others.
I believe that every person was created out of extravagant love. Every man, woman, and child was born with a specific, personalized destiny, and has specific talents. Everyone is a unique solution that someone else is waiting for, and everyone needs truth, hope, love, and encouragement.
Since I know this to be true, one of my greatest desires is to be a benefactor to many. My husband has watched me give things away through the years, and being the wise and kind business man that he is, advised me that the best way to fund this giving is by running a company that is profitable so I can be a blessing to others as needed.
So, that’s what I did.
I developed and launched Purity & Grace with one pure product and the destiny to share God’s grace with my customers.
As a busy wife and mom, I found myself searching for something healthy to boost my energy practically every day. Full afternoons, smack dab in the middle of the day, were often interrupted by the desire for a nap, something sweet, or caffeine. So, like millions of other Americans, I would look for something to perk me up midday.
I scoured the aisles of natural stores for healthy options. I found many products that had clean ingredient panels, but the healthy energy products didn’t seem to work, or worse, they were so bland or medicinal that I couldn’t even finish them. There were so many products that were simply inedible.
If I looked for options that weren't health store approved, but all of the popular energy-boosting products were packed full of compromising ingredients. Energy drinks were not an option for me because the ingredients are synthetic at best and toxic at worst, in my opinion. So, I tried other quick fixes...expensive fancy coffees, soda, or sugary treats. I knew these options weren't great. The boost didn’t last, the sugar was way too high, and the calories were not in a form that were helpful to my body.
I had studied health and nutrition for so many years, and this wasn't cutting it. I believe food needs to be clean, but it also should be enjoyed. I believe purity, effectiveness, and taste are all equal priorities, and it's so much easier to implement a healthy change when it tastes delicious.
Enough was enough!
